Prayer Ministry at Cheatham

Prayer is the vital lifeline that connects us to God, sustaining our faith journey and empowering us to live out His will in every aspect of our lives. As a praying church, we believe that everything we do—from worship to service to daily living—begins and ends with both corporate and individual prayer. Since March 15, 2020, we've gathered online every Wednesday morning at 10 am to seek God's guidance, intercede for one another, and experience His transforming presence together. John Wesley reminds us that "God does nothing but in answer to prayer," emphasizing that prayer is not merely a spiritual discipline but the very means by which God's grace flows into our lives and through our community. We invite you to join us in this essential practice that shapes who we are and all that we do.

Prayer Request

Sundays are the best time of the week for kids to gather in fun games, praise music, and faith lessons. Kids will have the opportunity to connect in Sunday School at 9 am, participate at the beginning of worship each week with a special children's time in worship about 10 minutes into the service before being released to Children's Church. At Children's church they'll learn important lessons about the bible in an interactive setting with games, activities and creative projects. Spiritual formation at each age-level will include prayer, and active steps in following Jesus.

Prayer at School

Vacation Bible School is an essential part of our children's program each summer.

We host a multi-day program where children from across the community gather for fun, fellowship, faith building. While learning about the stories that form the foundation of our faith journey, children will experience the stories through storytelling, interactive singing, crafts, games and science projects. Our program is in the evenings and includes a meal each day.  For more information, look for announcements and registration after Easter each year.
