Youth Ministry
It all starts with Youth Group. You will eat, laugh, play, hear about some interesting topics and maybe even sing a little. Before you know it, you will make life-long friends and create lasting memories!
Youth Group
Every Wednesday from 5:00-6:30 PM, our youth family gathers for fellowship, fun, and faith-building activities. We start with games and time to connect with both longtime friends and newcomers, creating a welcoming space where everyone belongs.
Our youth leaders then guide us through engaging activities they've planned. From meaningful discussions about faith and life, to pool parties, community outings, bowling nights, game tournaments, hands-on service projects, and even creative cooking adventures we can share together!
As part of our Traditional Methodist heritage, we believe in nurturing young leaders. Our active youth have opportunities to serve in Sunday worship, participate in church leadership, help with Vacation Bible School, and engage in service throughout our community and beyond.
Come discover how God is calling you to grow in faith and friendship. We can't wait to welcome you into our youth ministry family!"
Sunday School
9:00 Sunday Mornings. Join us each week for Sunday School where you will...
Summer Camp
Rise Up is the summer camp ministry of the Trinity Conference GMC and exists to share Christ with the next generation, deepen their relationship with Him, and help them hear His calling for their lives.
Expect Spirit-filled worship, Christ-centered teaching, deepening friendships, and loads of fun activities in the beautiful setting of Lakeview Methodist Conference Center outside Palestine, Texas!
Leadership
We believe our youth aren't just the church of tomorrow, they're vital leaders in God's work today.
Following Christ's example of calling young disciples, we nurture their gifts and calling right now, so they can grow into the faithful leaders God intends them to be.
Our young people actively serve in meaningful ways: designing Wednesday evening programs, reading Scripture in worship, sharing their voices in our praise team, participating in church council decisions, organizing special events, and when called by God, even sharing God's word from the pulpit on Sunday mornings.
This hands-on leadership development reflects our Methodist heritage of empowering all believers, regardless of age, to use their God-given gifts in service to Christ and community. We're not just preparing them for future ministry; we're walking alongside them as they discover and live out their calling today.
