The Bible
We Believe the Bible (Holy Scripture) contains everything you need to know about how to be saved and have a relationship with God. If something isn't found in the Bible or can't be proven from what the Bible teaches, then no one should be required to believe it as an essential part of the Christian faith or think they need it to be saved.
When we talk about "the Bible," we mean the collection of books in the Old and New Testaments that the church has always recognized as trustworthy and authoritative.
These books include:
Old Testament: Genesis, Exodus, Leviticus, Numbers, Deuteronomy, Joshua, Judges, Ruth, 1 Samuel, 2 Samuel, 1 Kings, 2 Kings, 1 Chronicles, 2 Chronicles, Ezra, Nehemiah, Esther, Job, Psalms, Proverbs, Ecclesiastes, Song of Solomon, and the books written by the major prophets (Isaiah, Jeremiah, Lamentations, Ezekiel, Daniel) and the twelve minor prophets (Hosea, Joel, Amos, Obadiah, Jonah, Micah, Nahum, Habakkuk, Zephaniah, Haggai, Zechariah, Malachi).
New Testament: We accept all the books that are commonly recognized as part of the New Testament (the four Gospels, Acts, Paul's letters, other letters, and Revelation).
